Hearts of Oak displayed their readiness for the Africa campaign.


Hearts of Oak displayed their readiness for the Africa campaign when they played Togo giants, ASKO de Kara at the Lome national stadium on Monday in an International friendly. 


Despite losing the game 1-0 the phobians, who were coming off a 2-0 win over Tema Youth in another friendly recently played in Accra showed lots is positive signed with their good and telepathic play. 

Hearts of Oak had plenty of chances to equalize after they went behind in the first half.  


ASKO gave the Ghanaian champions a good game testing their readiness for the champions league campaign. 

Hearts of Oak took absolute control of the game and the introduction of Salim Adam ensured that there was consistency in the midfield.

They pressed on and were nearly rewarded with an equalizer when a beautiful interplay was cooked from the midfield. 

ASKO had a chance to double their lead but Richmond Ayi who came in to replace Richard Baidoo made a fantastic save. Richard Baidoo in the first half had impressed and made his mark. 


Hearts of Oak will play CI Kamsar on 12th of September at the Lansana Conte Stadium, Conakry.
