Match Report - HeartsofOak vrs CI Kamsar


Salim Adams and Kofo Kordzi set the Phobians on their way, scoring a brilliant goal from a freekick and the second was from a rebound after Kofi Kordzi gave a pass.


Salim Adams, a signing from New Edubiase, introduced himself to the phobia faithful in fine fashion, turning in a rebound from kofi kordzi into the net to mark his territory in the game.


The result means Hearts have qualified to play another playoff with Moroccan side Wydad with the first leg in Morocco. Hearts were brilliant on the day and it was no more than they deserved after a dominant display against the Guineans.


The hosts were well on top even before the first goal was scored. They quickly placed their stamp on the matchmaking their intention clear.


Even so, Kamsar, who barely offered any threat of their own, had looked relatively solid until their capitulation.


Hearts began this match having lost 2 back-to-back friendly matches they played prior to this game.


In the early stage of the game, they displayed plenty of early pressure pressing forward for long periods until they were able to unlock a well-drilled Kamsar defense.


There were few redeeming features on a difficult afternoon for Kamsar but Hearts we're resolute. Hearts won the match by 2 goals to nil and sailed through to the next stage.


Hearts are set to meet Wydad in the next stage.
