MTN FA Cup Finals : Hearts vs Bechem

It is going to be the very last match of the season for both Hearts of Oak and Bechem United in the MTN FA Cup finals to be played in Kumasi.

The two teams have weathered the storm to get to this stage after comfortably dispatching their rivals convincingly to book a date in the finals. Both teams didn’t end their premier league season the way they wanted after Hearts were brutally beaten by their opponents from the North by 4 -1 and Bechem drawing against Berekum Chelsea.

It is a highly rated match with Bechem going into the game as the main favorite having put up a fantastic performance in the just ended league. Bechem averages a 1.09/goal in every game this season and have concede 0.71/goal in return. They will be counting on their prolific striker who scored 14 goals at the end of the season. They have only conceded less because of the performance of their goalkeeper Abdulai Iddrisu.

On the other hand, defending champions, Hearts of Oak will be going into the game as underdogs considering their last four performances that has put most fans in a despair. In the just ended league season, averagely, Hearts concedes atleast a goal and are able to score 0.97 goals/game a record that has been considered very discouraging.

In the lead to this game both teams have only managed to pick just very few points.

In their last 5 encounters they have managed 2 draws and 3 wins in favour of Hearts of Oak. The recent performance of Hearts of Oak doesn’t give fans hope and the team will be looking to regain the support of the fans.

Hearts of Oak’s only hope of winning a major trophy after the President’s cup will be the FA Cup and with the massive support coming from fans the Phobians can simply not afford to disappoint.
