US Ambassador, Virginia Palmer commends CVCA Partnership Project


The United States of America Ambassador to Ghana, Virginia E. Palmer has commended the Common Value Club Alliance (CVCA) partnership program insisting that it is a positive initiative which will enhance the development of talents and has therefore appealed to other clubs to embrace it and give it all the necessary support to make it work to perfection.



She said this when a delegation from Accra Hearts of Oak, led by the Board Chairman -Togbe Afede XIV, Hon. Vincent Sowah Odotei, a board member, and Acting General Manager, Bernard Gyebi paid a courtesy call on her today.


Jeff Berding who is a co-owner of F/C Cincinnati and is in the country on a working visit to Accra Hearts of Oak accompanied the delegation. 



The occasion was to introduce the Common Value Club Alliance (CVCA) partnership initiative to her outfit.


Virginia E. Palmer pledged her support to the partnership initiative and also discussed its potential long term benefits as a means of offering good opportunity for young talents to realise their ambitions, an opportunity for the technical staff to exchange technical ideas and other relevant information whose overall gains will inure to the benefits of the partners.


The CVCA partnership is the first of its kind and it comprises three teams - Accra Hearts of Oak, F/C Cincinnati and TSG Hoffenheim.


The last visit of our CVCA partners was in June, this year, when top officials from TSG Hoffenheim and F/C Cincinnati spent about a week in Ghana on an official visit to Hearts of Oak.
