Hearts of Oak return to training in preparation for the match against Samartex in matchday-30 in what promises to be a cagey encounter as both teams will want to take all the maximum points available. Hearts are going into this game on the back of a victory over the “INSHA ALLAH” boys, King Faisal and will be looking forward to carrying that momentum into the next game against the “TIMBER boys”.
Victor Aidoo is a doubt due to a knock he picked up in the match against King Faisal on Saturday night, he was subsequently substituted to receive medical attention.
Another player who is likely to miss matchday-30 is Obeng Jnr. The forward had a knock on his shoulder in the match against King Faisal. He has since missed training sessions as he is being monitored by the medical team of the club. He is expected to be out for some few days.
As matchday-30 approaches, Konadu Yiadom and Enock Assubonteng have returned to training and are part of the team’s preparations towards the next match against Samartex. Konadu Yiadom has been out for some few weeks after he got injured in the game against Accra Lions. Assubonteng missed the last 3 matches but he has resumed full scale training and may be available for selection if he is declared fit by the medical team.
Eric Ofori Antwi is still a huge doubt as he is still being monitored by the medical team. He got injured in the game against Tamale City after he landed awkwardly when trying to save a goal situation.
Hearts of Oak’s match against Samartex have been rescheduled for Sunday afternoon 7th May, 2023 at the Nsekyire park.
