Hearts End 2023 On A High:

It was the last game of the year for team Hearts of Oak, and it had been a rollercoaster of a year. 

The team had experienced both highs and lows, leaving their fans with mixed feelings. But as they stepped onto the field to face off against Bechem United, they were determined to end the year on a high note.

The game started with a lot of energy, and both teams were evenly matched. Bechem United, known for their strong defence, put up a tough fight .

It was a good run for the host, Hearts of Oak. But Team Hearts of Oak was not going to give up. The players had a point to prove, and they were not going to let their fans down.

As the game went on with both teams fighting for the full points with an end-to-end battle, Hearts of Oak switched into an extra fighting mood from the 80th minute. However, their efforts were constantly thwarted by the defence of Bechem United. 

It seemed like it was going to be a goalless draw until Martin Karikari stepped up. 

In the last minute of the game, Karikari received a pass from his teammate, and with a swift kick, his shot went straight into the back of the net.

As the team looked forward to the new year, they will continue to prepare for the second round after a short break.

The league will be on break due to the AFCON competition in Ivory Coast and should be back in February.
