Daniel Amartey Heaps Praises on Togbe Afede XIV for His Vision and Benevolence:
Black Stars defender Daniel Amartey has lauded the Executive Board Chairman of Accra Hearts of Oak, Togbe Afede XIV, for his immense contribution to the club’s development and the future of Ghanaian football.
Speaking to HeartsofOakSC.com during his visit to the club’s training grounds at Kpobiman, the former Leicester City star was left in awe of the state-of-the-art infrastructure being developed by the Phobians. Amartey described the facilities as "Modern European standard," adding that what he saw places Hearts of Oak miles ahead of every other club in Ghana.
“I’m really impressed,” Amartey said. “This is what we see in Europe. To have this in Ghana, and at Accra Hearts of Oak, shows that Togbe Afede XIV really wants the best for the youth of this country and for football in its entirety”
The Black Stars centre-back highlighted the number of standard football pitches, a fully equipped hostel facility, and other ongoing works at the Kpobiman project site. He stressed that such infrastructure provides a solid foundation for football development and will undoubtedly benefit generations of young Ghanaian footballers and clubs that will enjoy the facility.
“What struck me most is the thoughtfulness behind every part of the project. The pitches, the hostel — it’s clear this isn’t just for now. It’s for the future. The players are the biggest winners here, and ultimately, Ghana will benefit.”
He added that should all clubs take such a bold step in developing infrastructure, Ghana football will rise to the next level.
Amartey concluded by saying that with that kind of infrastructure and the current technical brains led by Coach Didi Dramani, Hearts of Oak will not just dominate but become a formidable force on the African continent again and beyond.
“This is how big clubs are built. With this kind of vision and investment, I truly believe Hearts of Oak is on the right path to once again dominate as a global force in football.”
Daniel Amartey’s endorsement adds to the growing admiration for Togbe Afede XIV’s unwavering commitment to transforming Hearts of Oak into a modern football powerhouse to achieve preeminence.
Tobge Afede certainly holds the keys to the future development of Accra Hearts of Oak and urges all and sundry to rally round him. This is indeed an examplary leadership.
He ended by saying "Phobians you are lucky to have Togbe Afede XIV to lead you. Embrace him well".
